I always found this building intriguing. Couldn't get who are the architects or what is the intended use yet, but I like the lines game and the reflections. It was very cold and it had been snowing short before I went there.

Victoria Hall, my favorite concert hall.
History: Constructed between 1891 and 1894 as a tribute to the queen of England, the Victoria Hall is renowned throughout the whole world for the acoustic qualities of its concert auditorium. Owned by the City of Geneva, it was renovated in 2006 in order to increase the comfort of the spectators and musicians

Special edition of a Russian classic: Eugene Onegin by Pushkin. A present from a Russian friend back in 2005.
History: Onegin is considered a classic of Russian literature. The currently accepted version is based on the 1837 publication. Almost the entire work is made up of 389 stanzas of iambic tetrameter with the unusual rhyme scheme"AbAbCCddEffEgg", where the uppercase letters represent feminine rhymes while the lowercase letters represent masculine rhymes. This form has come to be known as the "Pushkin sonnet." The innovative rhyme scheme, the natural tone and diction, and the economical transparency of presentation all demonstrate the virtuosity which has been instrumental in proclaiming Pushkin as the undisputed master of Russian poetry.
